Terms and Conditions of Sale


We cannot guarantee the availability of any product. We endeavour to keep stocks replenished however we will contact you if a product is out of stock and suggest a replacement, offer a refund or tell you when the product will be back in stock.

Please note someone aged 18 years or over must be present to accept delivery of your order – this applies to deliveries as well as pick-ups in store. Photographic ID may be required and must be shown if requested.

Placing an order does not constitute a contract. A contract is only made when we accept your order and process your payment.

All images on the website are for illustrative purposes only, the label may for example differ slightly.

We reserve the right not to accept your order.

VAT is charged on all products and orders.



We currently only deliver to Mainland UK and not to Northern Ireland, the Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands, Isle of White, Channel Islands or destinations outside the UK. Our website cannot determine if your address is outside of this location and if it is then we will manually cancel this and be in touch with you. 

Orders up to £50 will have a £4.50 delivery charge. Any orders over £50 will benefit from free delivery. We currently use APC for deliveries using their specialist wine and liquids delivery service. 

Your order can take up to 3-5 working days to be delivered. This time may be reduced if you choose to pick up your order in store however this cannot be guaranteed.



All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current UK rate.

We reserve the right to adjust prices and specifications at our discretion at any time before we accept your order. We also reserve the right to change and adjust any promotions and discounts.




If your product is faulty we will offer a full refund or replacement. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If a product is faulty we will arrange for it to be collected.

If some or all of your products are broken, faulty or spoiled when they are delivered please notify us as soon as possible by emailing anna@basilandlily.com or calling 0161 773 4442. It is your choice whether you return all products or just the ones that are broken, faulty or spoiled and a refund will be given.


Cancellations and complaints

You can cancel your order at any time until seven working days after delivery. You will be refunded as soon as the products are returned and they are returned in the same condition and are resaleable.

If you have a complaint, please email anna@basilandlily.com who will endeavour to respond to your complaint within 48 hours.


Data Protection

We only collect you data and personal information in order to process and deliver your order as well as personalising our service to you. We will only give your information to a third party if it is requested by a law enforcement agency or if we suspect fraudulent activity. 


False Information

You may not use a false email address, impersonate any person or entity or mislead as to the origin of any content.
